SAS Developer

Job Duties :

  • Perform SAS design, development, implementation, testing, support, maintenance and upgrades.
  • Develop SAS procedures, macros and applications for data extraction, transformation, data cleaning, reporting and documentation preparation.
  • Write programs to create RTF, PDF, HTML and MS Excel formatted files using SAS ODS facility to generate tables, listings, and figures and analysis datasets.
  • Run SAS and R codes in UNIX /LINUX environment.
  • Perform quality review of  peer developers’ statistical tables, listings, and graphs.
  • Write programs to create the database and analyze the numbers and trends.
  • Convert the findings or translate the data into an understandable documents and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Interact with analysts and developers to glean information about project capabilities, limitations, required interfaces and performance.
  • Design the system requirements.
  • Develop the code to store the data for future analysis.
  • Develop or write the codes to run the required job automatically in specific time even when the user is not logged in.
  • Perform quality control on final reports which are submitted to FDA.
  • Study management reports using SAS.
  • Review conditional random field (CRF) annotations and data specifications and ensure CRF meets the guidelines of the protocol and check for consistency and adequacy.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or foreign academic equivalent, plus two years of experience in the job offered or in SAS programming.

No Travelling.
